Brands give us something to believe in or belong to. They simplify our world and make decisions easy. But, just as brands have power over us, so do we over them.  We choose what we buy into, embrace what we agree with, and challenge what we don’t.

This exhibition and event series at the Design Museum in London explored this symbiotic relationship as part of the London Design Festival and asked visitors to ask themselves, who’s branding who?

Originally scheduled as a 9 day "pop up", the response to the exhibition was so intensely positive that, for the first time in memory, the museum extended the show — doubling its run.
